1. Content of the Project: Two forging production lines, two heat treatment production lines are added to strengthen the capacity of machine-assembly and assemble fabrication, thereby increasing the enterprise's production of automobile front-bearings and axles as many as 170,000 sets/pieces, and develop its production capability upto an annual output of 500,000 automobile front-bearings and 50,000 automobile front-axles. This project has been evaluated by authoritative departments as a project with little or non-pollution to the environment.
2. Investment Estimation and Financing Scheme: The total investment in this project is USD 10.6 million, among which USD 8.1million is for fixed asset investment, USD 2.5 million is newly added for starting-up fund. This project has been ranked as one of 2004 national-debt items for major industries structure adjustment This project gives priority to cooperation by means of capital introduction, and as much as USD 3.75million needs to be introduced from foreign investors.

Economic and Social Benefits: The project's increased sales revenue is USD 23.61 million , with the total sum of newly increased profits being 4 million USD; the newly increased inner income rate before taxed in investment finance is 34.5%; the net finance current value (ic=13%) before taxed is USD 13.02 million ; the investment reclaim term before taxed is 5.66 years; the investment profit margin is 21.33% and the investment interest tax rate is 27.75%. All economic index calculations indicate that this project enjoys high economic benefits.

General information of the project unit: The Automobile Axle Factory of Hubei Sanhuan Corporation, Ltd. is a branch factory of the Hubei Sanhuan Corporation, Ltd., a listed company in Shenzhen Stock Bourse. It is a specialized enterprise manufacturing automobile front bearings, with the biggest scale, the most complete range of articles and unique features in China at present. The enterprise's leading products are automobile front bearings and automobile assembled axles and it has the capacity of annual output of 350,000 diversified front bearings for the five series of heavy, medium, light, passenger and special-purpose vehicles, and 300,000 sets of assembled axles. The enterprise mainly aims at supplying products to form complete sets for some large and medium automobile factories, those producing special-purpose vehicles and passenger-automobiles, such as Dongfeng Group, The First Automobile Group, Beiqi Foton Motor Co. Ltd. and China Heavy Automobile Group. Some of its products are exported as accessories with auto engines into more than 20 countries and regions and enjoy a good market reputation. Within a short period, the enterprise has developed considerably in its technology, equipment, production and management, and outstanding sales achievement. In 2005, the automobile front bearings produced by the company have reached national market occupancy as more than 30%.

Current Status: To complete construction of this project and put it into production as early as possible, The Automobile Axle Factory of Hubei Sanhuan Corporation, Ltd. invested in 2004 USD 1.65 million as self collected fund to complete the ordering and making of part of the equipment, hence showing the capability in colleting funds itself. In order to give a full play of the unique superiority in the industry of auto parts and to promote the structure optimization, and to expand China's auto-parts manufacturing and to participate in the international competition with more powerful strength, The enterprise now welcomes widely cooperative companies abroad.
